Welcome to AutoWolf Mobile Edition for
the Pocket PC that will allow you to organize your vehicle
service history, fuel economy, operating costs, scheduled
maintenance reminders and evaluate your costs to maintain and
operate your vehicle.
AutoWolf Mobile Edition is compatible with MIPS and ARM-based PDAs
running the Microsoft® Pocket PC 2003 operating system or later.
It is designed as a "stand-alone" program or as a companion
program to Automotive Wolf Desktop (PC) Edition to allow you to
accumulate vehicle data and then transfer it to the PC version. |

Installation Instructions :
Installing Auto Wolf Mobile
Edition to your Pocket PC PDA:

Download
AWPPCsetup.exe
-
Connect your PDA to your computer and turn it
on.

Make sure that Active Sync is running

Install AWPPCsetup.exe to your computer (
it will automatically be installed to your PDA )
Be patient during the installation process, it
sometimes takes a few minutes to access the
mobile device.

Auto Wolf Mobile Edition was designed for the typical
automobile owner or serious enthusiast. The amount of information
you choose to store and record is up to you. You will be able to
record essentially all operating costs associated with your vehicle
and organize all your maintenance, repair, fuel purchases and parts
records. In addition all important vehicle specific information can
be easily stored such as loan, registration, emissions data,
Body/Trim, Drive Train, Engine, Insurance, and more.
Auto Wolf Mobile Edition supports scheduled maintenance using the
Scheduled Reminders option. You will be able to set reminders for
any maintenance issue for any odometer reading, date or both. Each
reminder that you set includes auto rescheduling options so that
when you complete the reminder it will automatically be rescheduled
according to the rescheduling parameters you have input.
Auto Wolf Mobile Edition supports maintenance gauges that are based
on any scheduled reminder that you set. This option lets you select
a reminder and display its status with a gauge to show you at a
glance its current status.
Auto Wolf Mobile Edition supports "TAP" and "TAP AND HOLD"
functionality to allow you to enter information quickly and
intuitively in any window displayed. This allows you to use your
stylus to quickly tap a menu option or tap and hold in a list to
display a pop-up menu of options. This software was designed to be
easy to learn and use.
USER TIPS:
If a data field label in a program window is in
red text, you can tap on it to
display a pop-up number pad to allow you to easily enter numeric
data for that data field. You are also welcome to use graffiti if
you prefer but we think you will often find the number pad quick and
easy to use.
To enter dates simply click on the small arrow next to the date that
is displayed. |
